Podcaster Abbie Chatfield wins I’m A Celeb, while Triple M’s Jess Eva places third

Former Bachelor contestant turned NOVA Entertainment podcaster, Abbie Chatfield, was crowned ‘Queen of the Jungle’ last night on Channel 10’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

She beat out podcaster and personality Ash Williams, who placed seventh, former AFL star Travis Varcoe (6th), TV chef Colin Fassnidge (5th), and performer Toni Pearen (4th).

Triple M’s Jess Eva, who has been hospitalised after the show and been forced to miss work, placed third.

The final two, according to audience votes, were Chatfield and former 2DayFM Breakfast co-host Grant Denyer.

The show was split in two for measurement purposes, with the winner announcement grabbing 896,000 metro viewers. With the addition of regional viewers, the national audience for Chatfield’s crowning was 1.235 million.

The main episode had 784,000 in the cities and 1.076 million in total.

It was up against Channel 9’s Married At First Sight reunion special, which had 866,000 in the metro areas and 1.235 million in total.
