Triple M’s Josh Olek appointed Content Director at Ballarat’s Power FM & 3BA

Triple M Brisbane and Sydney Workday Announcer Josh Olek is leaving SCA to take up a new role as Content Director at ARN stations Power FM and 3BA in Ballarat.

Announcing the news on social media, Josh said:

“After almost 7 years of living the dream at the Ms, and 15 years of making content in radio stations around Australia, there’s a new adventure on the horizon.”

“I love the way radio engages with the community, and there’s no place it does that better than regional areas. Just from listening over the last week, I’m already immensely impressed with a team that is clearly fiercely passionate about making local, engaging content.”

“My last day is the 13th! Can’t wait to rug up and get into some Sovereign Hill Raspberry Drops.” 

During his time at the Ms, Josh interviewed countless bands, from Linkin Park to The Living End.

Major highlights of his SCA journey include helping Powderfinger to celebrate 20 years of Odyssey #5, learning from the titans of the industry and helping to deliver some of Triple M Brisbane’s strongest Workday results in decades.
