Wilko & Courts revealed as Hit 104.7’s new Breakfast team in 2024

Reporter

After a 2 year absence from the Canberra airwaves, Wilko & Courts will return to the studio in January 2024 on the Hit 104.7 Breakfast Show.

Courtenay ‘Courts’ Kneen says “I was already so excited to return home to Canberra after two years away, but to be coming back to my dream job with my dream on air co-host? Well, that’s the cherry on top!”

Neil ‘Wilko’ Wilcock says “I am stoked to get back to a show with my best friend and keep Breakfast radio local in the Canberra region.”

amplifyCBR General Manager Craig Wagstaff says “As they have done for many years, Wilko & Courts are sure to again engage in a way that’s unique to them.”

The news comes less than a week after the departure of popular Canberra Breakfast duo Ned & Josh.

Wilko & Courts will be heard on Hit 104.7 from Monday, January 8th.

What an insensitive announcement on their Facebook page! It’s almost like these two have zero regard for their former colleagues who’ve been unceremoniously axed? Laughing and joking about the chatter is very unkind. Do better

Absolutely no offence to Wilko and Courts. But management could at least pretend to have some decency to Ned & Josh who have only been out for three days. People running Canberra appear to be heartless.
