‘What local radio is all about.’ Landmark week as i98FM gives away $35,000+ in cash and prizes

It’s been a landmark week at The Illawarra’s i98FM, with the station handing out over $35,000 in cash and prizes to lucky listeners.

This morning, Christian and Bella for Breakfast awarded Stacey from Horsley $10,000 as part of i98’s $50,000 Temptation competition.

Earlier in the week, Nath in Workdays celebrated with Sam from Kiama, who correctly guessed ‘sombrero’ to win i98’s $15,000 Mystery Word.

Adding to the excitement, Mitch from Albion Park scored a trip for two to Las Vegas to watch the first round of the NRL in 2026.

“This has been a huge week of fun for the Illawarra, and we love hearing – and seeing – the reactions of our winners,” said Gen Gordon, Head of Radio at i98FM. “The engagement has been incredible. This is what local radio is about!”
