We see you: Lucy & Kel bring joy to kids doing it tough

Lucy & Kel from Melbourne’s 89.9TheLight are bringing some much-needed joy to kids who’ve been doing it tough.

Returning for a fifth consecutive year, Lucy & Kel’s Screening with Meaning is a free movie premiere for children who’ve faced hardship in recent times.

Maybe it’s a health diagnosis, family problems, school or emotional challenges.

Whatever their story, some kids just need a win. This afternoon is all about them. They’ll also be able to meet (and hug) Lucy and Kel in person.

“We can’t fix everything, but for a couple of hours, we hope to remind these kids just how seen, special and strong they really are.”

This year, the station has announced it will be showing an advance screening of Bad Guys 2 ahead of its release in theatres around Australia.
