Triple M’s Beau Ryan spills on his most awkward celebrity interview

This week on Triple M Sydney’s Beau, Tarsh & Woodsy Breakfast show, Beau Ryan shared an unexpectedly awkward celebrity interview experience – revealing that his most uncomfortable encounter was with none other than Hollywood star Melissa McCarthy.

Beau recalled the experience from his time on The NRL Footy Show.

“You’d fly all the way over (to the United States) for four-minute interviews – there was a lot of pressure on it. I would usually go after Fitzy & Wippa, and they’d give me a heads-up if anyone was a problem. As I’m walking in, Fitzy gave me the eyes and whispers, ‘She’s a problem.’”

“She was prickly. She was difficult. (She gave) short answers, didn’t want to be there, gave me nothing. You feel uncomfortable.”
