Harley Breen, Ben Dobbin & Elliot Lovejoy take over Triple M Winter Breakfast in Brisbane

Former Editor & Content Director

Triple M in Brisbane has a new lineup for survey break, with Winter Breakfast with Dobbo, Elliott & Harley Breen hitting the airwaves this week.

The show features former 2DayFM Breakfast host and stand-up comedian Harley Breen, alongside existing Triple M personalities Ben ‘Dobbo’ Dobbin and Elliot Lovejoy.

Breen was part of Sydney’s 2DayFM Breakfast lineup in 2017, broadcasting from Melbourne. He left after one year to put more focus on his family and stand-up comedy career. He’s since fronted Channel 10’s Taboo and will soon host Making It Australia on the same network, alongside Susie Yousef. He also hosts Mates Talking About Stuff, a twice-weekly NOVA Podcasts production with Nikki Britton.

Dobbin, meanwhile traditionally hosts the The Rush Hour Queenslander from 6pm to 7pm on Weekdays, and is part of the Triple M NRL team. He also appears on Channel 9 as a rugby league insider for its statewide news bulletin in Queensland.

Lovejoy is also part of Queensland’s syndicated Rush Hour program and hosts Breakfast on Triple M in Cairns.

The regular Triple M Breakfast team of Greg ‘Marto’ Martin and Margaux Parker is scheduled to return after survey break on July 11.

I am surprised by this because Harley Breen was very average on radio when he was on 2DAY FM breakfast and the ratings reflected that

I’m confused. Is Lovejoy doing both Brisbane and Cairns b/fast? Are Lovejoy and Dobbin doing both the Triple M b/fast and Rush Hour? For those not in Brisbane or Cairns the item has not explained what is happening re Cairns b/fast and the Rush Hour.

With computer technology nowadays, let’s face it, anything is possible.

So will Harley be broadcasting from Melbourne or actually be in studio?
