Lauren Joyce partners with Abe’s Audio to unlock next phase of growth
Abe’s Audio has engaged independent strategy and creative advisor Lauren Joyce in a strategic partnership, bringing her in on a project basis to help drive new client partnerships and inject fresh thinking into the business.
At a time when media companies and agencies are under increasing pressure to deliver more with less – balancing speed, cost and quality – both Abe’s Audio and Joyce see a clear opportunity to rethink how audio, creativity and production are deployed.
Joyce operates under her “Gun For Hire” model, working across a portfolio of businesses to deliver high-impact strategic and creative solutions without the need for permanent headcount.
Abe’s Audio Founder Abe Udy says the partnership is designed to bring a fresh perspective and accelerate momentum.
“Lauren’s a gun for hire – she’s got deep expertise in media, marketing and leadership at the highest level, but more importantly, she understands where the pressure points are for agencies and clients right now. We’ve engaged her to challenge how we think, open up new opportunities and help us evolve how we connect with the market.”
The partnership reflects a broader shift in how businesses are accessing senior capability, according to Joyce.
“There’s a growing gap between what the industry needs and how it’s traditionally structured to deliver it. Businesses don’t necessarily need more people – they need the right expertise, applied at the right moment to unlock growth.
“What stood out to me with Abe’s Audio is that they’ve already built a highly effective creative production engine – delivering against the industry’s obsession with the ‘Iron Triangle’ of speed, cost and quality. But more importantly, they’ve developed capabilities that many media companies simply don’t have the resources to invest in right now. That creates a genuine opportunity for partnership,” she said.
For over 25 years, Abe’s Audio has built its reputation on innovation and reliability, working across voice, sound design and audio production for hundreds of agencies and brands across Australia and beyond. It is now an industry leader in the use of ethical AI and has developed integrations that plug seamlessly into its clients’ operating systems.
Known for her ability to connect insights, people and commercial opportunity, Joyce will work alongside Abe’s Audio to identify new growth avenues and help shape the next phase of the business – while continuing her broader advisory work across the industry.
