triple j celebrates 50 years by hitting the road with national tour

To wrap up its 50th birthday celebrations, triple j is hitting the road, heading on tour next month with shows across the country.

Spanning five dates across Hobart, Newcastle, Adelaide, the Gold Coast and Torquay, the triple j 50 Tour brings together a multi-genre line-up, showcasing the best in homegrown music and giving triple j audiences around Australia a chance to catch some of the most exciting names in local music.

Headlining Hobart is internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter and guitarist Courtney Barnett (pictured above).

ARIA Award-winning indie-rock outfit Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers (pictured below) take the stage in Newcastle.

While the appearance of fellow ARIA-Award-winning singer, songwriter and rapper Tkay Maidza marks a huge homecoming in Adelaide.

ARIA Platinum-certified artist and singer-songwriter-producer Mallrat brings her timeless pop to the Gold Coast, while Ninajirachi rounds out a breakout 2025, taking over Torquay with a signature electronic set.

The all-Australian line-up also includes Luca Brasi, Emily Wurramara (pictured above), The Grogans, South Summit, BARKAA, Darcie Haven, Jem Cassar-Daley, FUKHED and more.
