Tracey Holmes off to broadcast the Olympics but not for the ABC
Tracy Holmes has announced she is going to Paris to cover her 14th Olympics, but this time not with the ABC.
Holmes, who was Australia’s first female host of a national sports program, the show Grandstand, has resigned from ABC NewsRadio with her last day November 30. Holmes’s resignation follows Glen Bartholomew leaving the Drive program last week. Holmes would have marked ten years with NewsRadio in January.
On X, Holmes said this wasn’t the end of the road for her involvement in broadcast journalism and promised to be back soon.
