Students make their mark in regional radio newsrooms across Victoria
The future of radio is already in the studio.
Following the recent announcement of Commercial Radio & Audio’s (CRA) regional placement partnership with Swinburne University of Technology, today we meet the four students who are now making their mark in radio newsrooms across Victoria.
With ACE Radio having opened the doors of its regional stations as part of the program, the inaugural class of rising radio stars includes Nathan James in Traralgon, Ada Konstantine at 3WM in Horsham (main photo), Blaise O’Brien in Colac and Madeleine Davison in Wangaratta.

CRA says each student is now fully immersed in station life, producing live content, meeting tight deadlines and discovering the power of regional radio to inform connect and inspire.
CRA says it is proud to fund these placements, so students can focus on building real experience in real stations.
