Splashed in cash: Annie’s big pay day

91.7 The Wave’s Songs of Summer has come to an end, with Annie Cardew from Waroona having scored  $15,000.

Across summer, listeners tuned into Gunners & Ali to find out the day’s Song of Summer.

They then faced the challenge of being the first caller through when the song played again at any time throughout the day.

The calls came in thick and fast. With a 99% hit rate, more than ninety people made the standby list for the cash prize.

The Wave Runners surprised Annie at her home this week with the good news and a very big cheque.
