Rob Thomas joins Triple M’s Robbie & Carly for candid Aussie interview

On Triple M WA’s Robbie & Carly, Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas has shared exclusive insights into his romantic ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ experience in Western Australia during a road trip with his wife.

In a candid interview, Thomas reflected on his long-standing connection with Australia and the special moments he’s experienced here over the years.

“Perth is the one place that my wife and I, years ago, we rented a car … we drove through the vineyards in Margaret River and we stopped at different places. It was so beautiful. It kind of felt like our own Eat, Pray, Love for just a second,” he said.

The singer also shared a rockstar-worthy memory of his first visit to Rottnest Island, thanks to Aussie music legends INXS.

“INXS took us on a boat they had, and they drove us out to this island for the first time that we ever went.”
