RIP Gibbo

The radio industry is paying tribute to Michael ‘Gibbo’ Gibson following his death at the age of 69.

As well as writing and performing comedy for radio stations including Brisbane’s B105, Gibson produced and starred in TV shows such as Agro’s Cartoon Connection.

He also supported Jamie Dunn and Agro as part of B105’s Morning Crew.

Dunn took to social media to pay tribute:

“Farewell my funny friend. You were hilarious 100% of the time! I have nothing but wonderful memories of you.”

While former B105 PD Mike Byrne said early morning starts were always so much more enjoyable with a cheeky smile from Gibbo.
