Richard Glover embarks on country-wide tour

He might be having some time off, but Richard Glover certainly won’t be idle over the coming months.

The popular ABC Radio Sydney Drive presenter announced this week he is taking a break, heading off on long-service leave from 23 October until he returns in the new year.

And what will he be doing with his leave?

Never one to sit still, Richard will return to host the Andrew Olle Media Lecture next week, then will embark on a country-wide tour to celebrate the release of his latest book, Best Wishes – a humorous plea for a better world, one wish at a time.

During his absence, listeners will be treated to a host of different stand-in presenters, with Fran Kelly, Craig Reucassel, Jennifer Byrne and Hamish Macdonald keeping the seat warm.
