One year on from her sudden radio departure, Rebecca Morse will return to the Adelaide airwaves tomorrow.

Bec will co-host Mix 102.3’s Breakfast show alongside Max Burford for two days, filling in while Hayley Pearson takes a holiday.

Earlier this year, Bec opened up about her exit from the SAFM Breakfast show she co-hosted with Mark ‘Soda’ Soderstrom, revealing that she found out that her contract wasn’t renewed on the way to a mammogram.

“After a year away from breakfast radio catching up on sleep, I’m so keen to jump back behind the mic for Hayley for a couple of mornings,” Bec says.

“Max and I are old mates from my Channel 10 days, and he can expect to be held accountable for that new hairstyle and his dog’s Instagram account.”

Mix102.3’s Content Director Stephen Werner says that Adelaide listeners are in for a treat.

“Bec has been featured on our show as a guest a couple of times and we’re so excited to have her back with us to cohost with Max. She brings such a great mix of warmth and humour, and she connects with our audience in a really genuine way.”

For her part, Pearson says she couldn’t think of a better person to keep the show rolling while she’s away.

Bec is a familiar face and voice in Adelaide, recently joining forces with her daughter Grace to launch their podcast In The Genes, giving listeners a candid and entertaining look into their lives.

Sorry but they ruined that show when Lowe and Ali left.
