Oodles of groodles: Nova’s Mitch Lewis brings 11 pups to work for National Dog Day

Nova 106.9 Brisbane has always been a dog-friendly workplace and staff often bring their pet pooches to the office.

But today Mitch Lewis – who anchors Nova’s Ash, Luttsy & Nikki Osborne Breakfast show – surprised and delighted his co-workers by bringing his family’s ELEVEN groodle puppies into the studio to celebrate National Dog Day.

Productivity and podcasting ground to a halt as everyone stopped to play with the puppies, all of whom have been named after iconic chocolates.

Mitch’s wife Sarah was on hand to help wrangle the wriggling babies.

Nova Brisbane staff weren’t sure who deserved the greatest applause – Nala the groodle for birthing eleven healthy babies as a first-time mum – or Sarah for managing to get four kids, twelve dogs and Mitch all under control.
