NOVA Entertainment expands listener access with streaming apps on Apple TV

Reporter

NOVA Entertainment has today announced the launch of its full suite of apps on Apple TV.

NOVA’s market-leading stations are now available on Apple TV via the Nova TV Player, Smooth TV Player, FIVEAA TV Player and Star 104.5 TV Player apps.

NOVA says that following the April roll-out on Google TV and Android TV, it is now the only commercial radio network in Australia with dedicated apps across multiple Smart TV platforms.

The new Apple TV apps, which are all available to download now via the Apple Store, bring all of NOVA’s owned and partner streaming stations to households across Australia.

Listeners can now choose anything from Nova Jamz to talkSPORT, providing new opportunities for advertisers.

NOVA Entertainment’s Director of Digital Strategy, Capabilities and Data, Michelle Golding, said “Our priority is making content available across all the devices and platforms our listeners expect. With 80% of Australians owning a Smart TV and 82% of music streaming happening at home via smart speakers and Connected TVs*, further expanding our SMART TV portfolio to Apple TV is win for audiences and for our advertisers looking to reach them.”

NOVA Entertainment collaborated closely with Apple to optimise each app for the platform, enabling seamless integration with Apple TV’s interface.

This launch is part of NOVA’s broader strategy to expand distribution and create more opportunities for audiences to tune in, tapping into the rapidly growing Connected TV market.

Ben, Liam and Belle departing Nova. It’s funny how there was no “Post comments on that article ” Perhaps Nova didn’t want to hear it.
