Nova 919’s Jodie Oddy launches new live event concept

Nova 919’s Jodie Oddy has embarked on a new project, showing some of Adelaide’s most recognisable personalities in a whole new light.

After three-and-a-half years of co-hosting Nova Breakfast alongside Andrew Hayes, Jodie has added a new string to her bow, with she and her hubby Greg launching UNSCRIPTED, an Adelaide-based live event concept.

Designed as a fresh alternative to keynote speakers and traditional panel discussions, UNSCRIPTED connects audiences with leading personalities from sport, media and business through authentic, engaging conversations.

The inaugural event featured 2025 Melbourne Cup-winning jockey Jamie Melham (main photo) in a candid live conversation with Jodie, offering audiences a behind-the-scenes look at her career and life beyond racing.

The launch at Adelaide Hills Convention Centre saw Jamie share insights into her career and life beyond racing in a relaxed and engaging setting.

UNSCRIPTED is now expanding into corporate events, conferences and public live experiences, with a number of high-profile guests set to be announced in the coming months.

Greg says UNSCRIPTED is designed to create more meaningful live experiences.

“We believe the best events happen when you combine the right personalities, facilitators and audiences to create genuine conversations people want to be part of.”

Jodie says live audiences are central to the concept.

“Some of the best stories come when people move beyond the script & simply have a real conversation.”
