New partnership for Outback Radio 2WEB

Media Sales Representatives Spots & Space has joined forces with Outback Radio (2WEB) for sponsorship sales.

Outback Radio broadcasts from Bourke in the far west of New South Wales with a listening area of over 130,000 square kilometres.

The station directly reaches the rural centres of Brewarrina, Cobar, Coonamble, Cunnamulla, Gilgandra, Goondiwindi, Lightning Ridge, Moree, Narrabri, Nyngan, St George in Queensland, Thargomindah, Walgett and Wilcannia, as well as the many smaller towns and more isolated communities along the Mitchell and Kamillaroi Highways and the Kidman Way.

Station Operations Manager David Sharp says “Our listeners rely on us for vital information, local news, emergency information and daily entertainment.  In 2018, the station saved our local newspaper from closing, and we are now also the proud publishers of the Western Herald, Bourke’s dedicated local newspaper Since 1887.”
