Mal Lees back on Radio 97 breakfast

Mal Lees is making a welcome return to the breakfast airwaves on the Super Radio Network‘s Tweed Heads’ station Radio 97. As one half of radio comedy duo Club Veg (with the late Vic Davies) the pair ruled the drive time ratings on Triple M Sydney for many years with Mal also having worked at triple j, C91.3, 2SM, Hot Tomato and Triple M on the Gold Coast.

Mal joins Radio 97 after Brooke Marsden departed for travel adventures at the end of January. Brooke had co-hosted breakfast with Steve Murphy who is also moving to provide the Tweed and surrounds with a live and local afternoon show.

George Caralis, co-owner of the Super Radio Network said:

“We are excited to have Mal join Radio 97 and bring his humour and radio experience to breakfast. Steve Murphy on afternoons is also the first of more live and local shows on the cards for the Network. Watch this space.”

Mal Lees commences on Radio 97 Breakfast, and Steve Murphy on Afternoons on Monday March 3.
