KIIS1065 on top in Campbelltown, strong result for local C91.3 – Xtra Insights

The first Xtra Insights survey of Campbelltown has KIIS1065 on top in the Macarthur region with a strong showing for local station C91.3 FM particularly in the 10-17 and 40-54 demographics and for the drive home.

CAMPBELLTOWN:

• KIIS1065 No 1 with a 21.3 share of all audiences 10+, C91.3 second with 13.0, 2GB third with 9.6
• For audiences aged 10-17 C91.3 had 23.0 of the audience, just behind KIIS’s 26.7
• Kyle and Jackie O dominate breakfast with 25.0 audience share. Ally Redondo at C91.3 second with 13.1. KIIS is the leader in all dayparts and weekends
• KIIS well ahead on cumulative audience with 65K, C91.3 second with 38K

Eighteen months ago, Katoomba and Western Sydney’s The Edge 96.1 became CADA which has grown in numbers, particularly in Sydney, through DAB+ in the most recent GfK Survey 6. CADA 96.1 rated 5.2 for all audiences 10+, and second in the 18-24 demographic behind KIIS with 16.9. I had thought their numbers would be higher across ages 10-39, but it will be pleasing that 96.1 is still drawing a significant target audience through Campbelltown after the changeover.
