KIIS 101.1’s Jase & Lauren are Cruising for a Cause

This month, KIIS 101.1’s Jase & Lauren are Cruising for a Cause alongside Cancer Council Victoria, driving donations for the organisation to continue its life-saving research, prevention and support services.

From October 16, Jase Hawkins, Lauren Phillips and newsreader Clint Stanaway will take to the graffiti-painted streets of Melbourne in their very own caravan, inviting listeners to ride shotgun, and join them for a good cause by sharing how cancer has touched their lives.

Cancer is a cause close to the heart for the show, especially for co-host Jase Hawkins, after losing his father to the illness.

Jase says “My dad loved caravanning and our long road-trips are some of my favourite memories with him. To be able to combine his love of the outdoors with raising awareness and funds for all the amazing work Cancer Council Victoria does in the community honestly means so much to me.”

“We’re thrilled to see Jase & Lauren Cruising for a Cause for Cancer Council Victoria,” say Cancer Council Victoria CEO Todd Harper. “With almost 1 in 2 of us diagnosed by the time we’re 85, cancer affects all of us. It’s because of generous support like this that we can continue our vital work.”
