Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has confirmed the return of Sportsday in 2026, with Gerard Healy being joined by a new face to the SEN network – Ken Hinkley.

Healy, a Brownlow Medallist and Australian Football Hall of Fame inductee, brings decades of experience as both a player and commentator.

Joining him is Hinkley, fresh from an extraordinary coaching career at Port Adelaide. As senior coach for 13 seasons, he guided the club to seven finals series, four preliminary finals, and twice won the AFL Coaches Association Coach of the Year.

Sportsday returns to its traditional timeslot of 6 to 8pm AEST/5.30 to 7.30pm ACST, airing Monday to Wednesday, with AFL Nation kicking off earlier on Thursday nights to cover the big games.

Fans can also look forward to the return of Champion Data’s Daniel Hoyne on Tuesday nights, delivering the stats and analysis that shape the game.

Healy is excited about the year ahead.

“Sportsday has always been about great conversation and insight, and I’m excited to team up with Ken.  His experience as a player and coach adds a fantastic dimension to the show, and I can’t wait to get started.”`

Hinkley – who will also be heard on Crunch Time, AFL Nation and Whateley with Gerard Whateley during his inaugural year with SEN in 2026 – added that he’s looking forward to the next chapter of his career.

“I’m thrilled to join Sportsday and the SEN family in general, and sharing my passion for the game with fans.  After so many years in the coaching box, I’m looking forward to bringing that perspective to the conversation and connecting with listeners during the season.”

Kane Cornes will also still be heard across the SEN airwaves on weekday afternoons, fronting a new show – Locked In.

Locked In will be heard across the SEN network between 5 and 6pm AEST / 4.30 and 5.30pm AEST from Tuesdays to Thursdays, including being broadcast live from the ground ahead of Thursday night football.

“This show is a great opportunity to tackle the biggest topics of the day from 5 to 6pm in my typical style,” Cornes said.  “I’m excited to work with a different big-name, co-host each night and uncover their perspective and strongest opinions.”

Sportsday returns in 2026 from Monday 9 February, with Locked in starting from Tuesday 10 February.

SEN need to promote it’s Sports program on channel 9 and seven so that the maximum of listeners can come and listen and they also need to promote the rest of their programs both local and worked for that same reason.
