iHeartRadio Australia debuts ‘enriched’ curated listening experience

iHeartRadio Australia has debuted a new series of curated and personalised playlists for listeners, ranging from what tunes Amanda Keller plays while baking biscuits to the best songs for you this week as selected by AI.

The debut includes a new playlist feature made to use with live radio streaming that allows listeners to add songs playing live straight onto personal playlists.

ARN’s Chief Digital & Technology Officer Fayad Tohme says, “The iHeart App has been enriched to provide a more personalised experience, and the best part is, it’s entirely free.”

“We’re excited to revolutionise the listener journey by seamlessly integrating live radio, podcasts and meticulously curated playlists. 

“Whether you’re in search of inspiration for your workout or a serene soundscape to relax after a long day, the iHeart App has your needs met. 

“With AI-powered playlists such as ‘Your Weekly Mixtape’ and celebrity-curated selections, discovering and crafting the perfect soundtrack for any moment has never been easier.”

Celebrity-curated selections include picks by Kyle & Jackie OChristian O’ConnellLife Uncut’s Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne, and more.

iHeart has also put a focus on supporting local artists, creating several Australian-only playlists, including ‘New Aus’, ‘New Country’, ‘First Nations’, ‘BBQ Bangers’, ‘Pub Rock’ and ‘Pop’ and ‘Hip-Hop’.

Listeners can access the iHeart playlists and see the new features via the free iHeart app.
