i98FM’s Ned & Josh wake up the Illawarra for special Breakfast takeover

Reporter

i98FM favourites Ned & Josh are returning to Breakfast radio, stepping in for Christian and Bella while they take a well-earned mid-year break.

Usually heard on Ned & Josh at Night, the duo will wake up the Illawarra for two weeks from Monday, June 29.

Before moving into the Night Show, Ned & Josh also spent time hosting Drive, making this their latest opportunity to connect with audiences in a different daypart on i98FM.

To celebrate their time on Breakfast, the boys are launching i98FM’s Feel Good Ticket Giveaway, giving listeners the chance to win tickets to see some of the biggest names in music, including Harry Styles, Hilary Duff, Guns & Roses, Jason Derulo, Post Malone, Alex Warren and more.

The boys are raring to go, with Josh saying “We can’t wait to wake up the Illawarra and have some fun in the morning. We’re loving having our dinner at the station with Nights, and now getting the chance to connect with listeners at breakfast means lunch is the only meal we are now missing from the trilogy. We can’t wait to give away some of the biggest tickets in live music to i98’s incredible listeners.”

i98FM Content Director Michael Christian welcomed the duo’s return to the breakfast lineup, saying “While Christian and Bella enjoy a quick reprieve before a massive second half of the year, it’s fantastic to have Ned & Josh waking up the Illawarra with their hilarious antics.”

“The boys have become a much-loved part of the i98FM family, whether it’s been in Drive, Nights or now Breakfast. Having previously hosted breakfast radio earlier in their careers, they’re more than ready for the early alarms.”

“They’re seasoned broadcasters who connect brilliantly with our audience, and I know listeners will love starting their day with them.”

Ned & Josh will officially take over i98FM Breakfast on Monday, June 29. Christian and Bella will return to their regular morning slot on Monday, July 13.

These boys obviously still have a lot left in the tank. WIN seem to always run replacement shows too when people take leave, they’re radio operators who still invest. Good on them!
