Hit up, but Mix still leading the charge in Canberra GfK Survey 3

Canberra GfK Survey 3 results are out, with Mix 106.3 continuing to lead the way, despite an overall drop  from 25.8 to 21.6 (down 4.2).

It was a pleasing result for Hit 104.7 which made ground – up 0.8 to 15.5 while ABC holds down third spot, up 1.9 t0 13.0

The Mix team of Kristen and Nige still dominate the Breakfast slot, despite falling 4.6 – from 26.1 to 21.5 .

Canberra’s Forever Classic 2CA and Talking Canberra 2CC both ended the ratings year with increases in listenership, the stations saying:

“2CA increased its commercial radio share of listening from 12.3% to 14.2%, and 2CC increased from 8.9% to 10.1%.

On 2CA, The Classic Breakfast with Holmsey & Scotty, along with Mornings, Afternoons and Drive all posted good increases.

On 2CC, the Local Breakfast with Stephen Cenatiempo and Mornings with Ray Hadley both increased share of listening.

2CC has Canberra’s longest average time spent listening at 12 hours, 16 minutes, followed by 2CA at 9 hours, 13 minutes. (Ppl 10+ Mon-Sun 0530-000).”

2CA & 2CC General Manager, Michael Jones says “Our radio teams on 2CA and 2CC have done a great job to deliver these results. Engaging content, huge contests, and a focus on delivering Canberra’s best local news service all feed into a superb outcome.
