Finalists announced for triple j’s 2023 Unearthed High

triple j Unearthed’s 2023 Unearthed High finalists have been announced, celebrating new music from talented teens across the country.

They are:

Elianie – ‘Out Of Luck’ (Helena College Senior School – Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar, Perth, WA)

 ixaras – ‘sprouts’ (Music Industry College – Meanjin, Brisbane, QLD)

 LEE – ‘UP’ (Australian Christian College – Darug Nation, Greater Western Sydney, NSW)

 Lotte Gallagher – ‘Adam’ (Northcote High School – Naarm, Melbourne, VIC)

 REDD – ‘TELL ME Y.’ (Templestowe College – Naarm, Melbourne, VIC)

The Unearthed High winner will be announced on triple j Breakfast with Bryce & Concetta in the week commencing August 14, as well as this year’s Unearthed High Indigenous Initiative champ.

Previous Unearthed High alumni include The Kid LAROI, Genesis Owusu, Gretta Ray, Hockey Dad, Montaigne and many more.

The competition is now in its 16^th year.
