Delta Goodrem headlines live Melbourne show for The Fox’s Brekky in the Burbs
Last Friday, The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick took Breakfast radio to the Melbourne bayside suburb of Frankston, broadcasting live to a crowd of more than 700 listeners at The Cheeky Squire for the latest edition of Brekky in the Burbs.
Joining the show was Aussie singer Delta Goodrem, who performed some of her biggest hits – including Wings, Lost Without You and her Eurovision anthem Eclipse – before chatting with the team about representing Australia on one of the world’s biggest stages.

Reflecting on her Eurovision experience, Delta thanked Australians for their overwhelming support and shared the hilarious reaction from her eight-year-old nephew, who has now created a list of countries he’ll “never visit” after this year’s voting.
Delta said “I honestly felt it. I felt like when I was on stage there was this feeling of everyone with me. I felt it from the minute I was there; I was so proud to fly the flag. I can’t thank you enough for the love, what an incredible life moment, so thank you so much for the love. I really did feel it.”
She also revealed she found herself favouring countries that awarded Australia maximum points, joking she bought cake from Armenians at a market after the country gave her 12 points.
Delta also surprised The Fox co-host Fifi Box, suggesting Fifi should join her on her upcoming world tour following the success of Fifi’s One Night Only karaoke special.
The live show also featured comedian Jimmy Rees and marked another stop on The Fox’s Brekky in the Burbs tour, which gives listeners across Melbourne the chance to get up close and personal with The Fox brekky team.
Listen to Fifi, Fev & Nick on Melbourne’s 101.9 The Fox from 6-9am weekdays, also on LiSTNR. Fifi, Fev & Nick can also be heard nationally across The Hit Network during ‘The Happy Hour’ from 6pm to 7pm.
