Jason Matthews to replace Dean Miller & Sofie Formica on 4BC Breakfast

Mornings host Jason Matthews will take over Breakfast on Brisbane’s 4BC in a major reshuffle of the struggling Tapt Media talk station.
According to Mister Brisbane (aka Brett Debritz) – 4BC has announced that Matthews will replace Dean Miller and Sofie Formica, who slid to a lowly 3.2 share in GfK Survey 4.
Gary Hardgrave moves into Mornings, with his Drive shift being taken over by Carla Bignasca.
Michael McLaren will be networked from 2GB in the Afternoons shift. Step Outside with Paul Burt will be replaced by The Garden Clinic from Sydney’s 2GB.
You kind of get the feeling that this is just a rearrangement of the deck chairs on the Titanic, I havent listened to 4BC since they moved Bill McDonald on, he was the only one worth listening to,doesnt matter who they swap around it just wont work for them.After four different combinations for the breakfast shift in just 2years(Neil Breen/Laurel Garry and Mark/Peter Fegan and now Dean and Sophie) who would bother to tune in its a circus.Looks like we might be heading back to that old networking everything from Sydney caper like they did a few years back.My advice(not that they would take it) is to scrap talkback and become a golden oldies music station and give 4BH some competition, the only way is up they couldnt go much lower…..or could they?????
