Dean Mackin joins TNT Radio 

Former 2HD and 2SM announcer Dean Mackin recently joined TNT Radio for the weekday 4-6 pm Drive shift, immediately following Chris Smith’s show. 

Dean was allegedly sacked from 2HD in 2019 for his conservative commentary, despite being an ACRA finalist for Best Talk Presenter – Provincial in 2015/16/17 while at the station. 

Dean commenced on TNT on Monday the 15th of May and says he’ss already found that a massive number of his former listeners have made the switch across to TNT Radio in the afternoons, “as per the many emails we have received and so many of the callers to the program being familiar to those who used to listen to both 2SM and 2GB.”

Dean said he is “especially excited about following Chris Smith’s program and also leading into UK celebrity provocateur Katie Hopkins live show which starts at 6 pm each weekday evening.”
