CADA to launch this week as new youth radio brand

ARN will relaunch The Edge 96.1 as CADA, a national youth media platform anchored in Hip Hop and R&B this Thursday 31 March.

The Edge will shift from its current model as a Western Sydney FM broadcaster to its new national platform CADA, Australia’s home of Hip Hop and R&B. It will be available on FM in Sydney, DAB+ nationally and globally via iHeartRadio.

CADA will provide a new avenue for both local and international Hip Hop and R&B artists to showcase their music on a station with national multi-platform reach.

A brand new mix of presenters will include social media influencers and personalities.

96.1 is assigned to Katoomba RA1, Wentworth falls – Blue Mountains. It isn’t a Western Sydney station no matter how hard we try.

It’s former call sign was 2KA and covers an area with an average at of 44 years old.
