Burgo returns to Perth’s 6iX to host new Saturday morning show

John Burgess is back at Perth’s Forever Classic 6iX – hosting ‘Saturday Morning with Burgo’ every Saturday from 8am to midday.

Burgo will give Perth audiences an entertaining start to their weekend – with stories from his star-studded career; news and information about what’s happening around town and plenty of that famous (or is that infamous?) Burgo wit.

There’ll also be plenty of ‘Forever Classic” music from the 60s, 70s and 80s – including some of Burgo’s hand-picked favourites.

Burgo said “It’s a fantastic feeling to be returning to 6iX, a place where I’ve built so many great memories over the years. I love that in 2025 I can continue to make new memories with the people of Perth – and just have a bit of fun each Saturday!”

Most of us grew up (and grew older!) watching Burgo on TV – and hearing him on 6iX, where he was part of our lineup for many years – so we’re thrilled to have him back, to brighten up Saturday mornings.”

Saturday Morning with Burgo starts Saturday November 1 on Forever Classic 6iX – and can be heard every Saturday from 8am to midday, via all of 6iX’s listening options: 1080 AM, 105.7 FM (Northern & Southern Suburbs), DAB+ Digital Radio, and Streaming Live though 6iX.com.au
