Fox FM Breakfast co-host Brendan Fevola is going to attempt to break a world record.

His attempt will be a bid to outdo Rob ‘Gronk’ Gronkowski, an American footballer who recently set the record by catching a football dropped from over 600 feet in the air.

Fevola’s attempt will be to catch a ball dropped from 650 feet.

The team discussed the ambitious goal this morning, and called on listeners to lend them a 17-acre property to ensure safety precautions could be met.

Co-host Fifi Box noted the risks of a falling object hitting someone on the head from that height, to which Fevola responded “If I’m going to go out, I’ll go out taking a mark”, and joked the team could get former co-host Byron Cooke back to replace him.

Fox said the stunt will go ahead next week.
