Boomtown announces final regional media masterclass for 2023

Boomtown has announced its final regional Masterclass for 2023, promising a panel of senior marketing and sales executives to highlight the potential of regional marketing with practical advice to help take action. 

The free 90-minute masterclass is open to everyone as an industry-wide webinar on Thursday, November 23, with a yet-to-be-announced panel of speakers.

“We are delighted to announce our final masterclass for the year in November, which will feature another exceptional line-up of special guests,” said Boomtown Chairman, Brian Gallagher.

The announcement follows a recent Boomtown masterclass featuring guest speakers Emily Moss, Commercial Director, amplifyCBR, Paraj Panjwani, Sales Planning and Performance Director, Optus, and Sally Roscholler, Trade Marketing Manager, ACM.

The recent panel offered a range of advice including how to break down advertising regionally into actionable steps.

“Start with one region, because it can be really daunting trying to scale across all the regions in Australia,” said ACM’s Sally Roscholler.

“If you don’t know where to begin, start with one state and hone in on a couple of regions, start testing and learning. 

“You aren’t going to get it right the first time but start small and grow your base and see it flourish.”

Boomtown launched the masterclass initiative to help media professionals access the 9.6 million Australians living in regional locations.

The masterclasses are designed to educate professionals on the regional media landscape, and provide the information needed to plan and buy regional advertising.
