Ben, Liam and Belle’s PedalMo raises $26K for Movember

Nova’s Ben, Liam & Belle raised over $26,000 for Movember by peddling all the way down the Yarra River in their PedalMo, also bringing awareness to men’s health and encouraging their listeners to engage in meaningful conversations.

Belle said: “It’s been an honour to raise money for such a worthy cause and to have such important conversations.”

Embarking last Monday from Hawthorn, the team commandeered a pedlo, christened the ‘PedalMo’, to peddle all the way to Southbank where they moored on Friday at the docks to celebrate with a crowd of listeners.

“What a week! My bum is so happy we’re back on land, but I think I’ll hold onto the captain’s hat,” Liam said.

“Thanks to everyone who donated, we absolutely smashed our $10,000 goal and every donation made a difference,” added Ben. “I’m off to hide a captain’s hat now…”

During the week the team welcomed a number of guests and listeners who shared their own stories around the importance of the work Movember does and the worthy cause all donations were going towards.
