Barrie Quick announced as new General Manager of West Coast Radio

West Coast Radio has announced the appointment of Barrie Quick as its new General Manager.

With over 35 years of radio experience across the Perth, Sydney and Melbourne markets, Quick brings a wealth of leadership and expertise to the company, as well as a commitment to strengthen the presence of West Coast Radio’s two stations, Coast FM and The Wave, both locally and further afield.

“I am thrilled to be joining the team at West Coast Radio,” he said.

“My focus will be on taking the stations to the next level, embracing new opportunities in digital and broadcast media and connecting with listeners in fresh and innovative ways.”

Before joining West Coast Radio, Quick was CEO at Pacifica Star Network – a media content and entertainment business encompassing SEN, 3MP, Frankie Magazine and Inside Football.

He has also held General Manager positions at 96FM and 6PR in Perth along with Sales Director and Sales Manager roles at various radio stations in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.

West Coast Radio Chairman Adam Bassett-Scarfe said Quick’s extensive media knowledge will help steer West Coast Radio through the evolving landscape of the broadcast industry.
