Ash London returns to radio on More FM Nights
Adrian Brine departed ARN and Australia in November 2024 for a new role as Group Content Manager for MediaWorks NZ radio stations The Edge, Mai FM and George FM. At the time, and in true radio fashion he ended his LinkedIn post about the move saying:
“For those wondering what my superstar wife will be doing, unfortunately it wouldn’t be a radio post without a good hook…”
The superstar wife in question is Ash London, who joined Adrian in the move across the ditch, alongside their little boy Buddy. She left her full time role with The Hit Network just prior to his birth.
Now, alongside the return of Simon Barnett to the also MediaWorks owned More FM Breakfast team, Ash will also join the station, hosting a new nights program Monday to Thursdays, 7-9pm. Ash’s podcast Hopeless Romantics has also joined Mediaworks’ digital platform rova.
Ash commences on More FM nights on Monday February 10. The first local episode of Hopeless Romantics is out now, celebrating The Princess Bride, with The Edge’s Meg Mansell.

Ash is great talent, so absolutely zero criticism towards her, but man – in a very limited opportunity market due to heavy networking, it sucks that MoreFM feel they have to import talent, especially considering More has probably a bigger pool of talent to pick from than most.
So I guess it will be 2 hours of woke Trump bashing every evening zzzz
Pity for the 25+ people restructured out of Mediaworks in 2024 because of apparent company cost savings.
Reading between the lines – now see Mediaworks had to pay for Simon Barnett’s – 7 figure salary somehow.
Hope Adrian and Ash stay longer than their usual two years – will help make those people changes mean something.
You love to see good operators get rewarded. What legends!
