ARN fast-tracks Karl & Eddie’s new show to air

ARN is fast-tracking the launch of The Long Weekend with Karl Stefanovic and Eddie McGuire, with the show kicking off this Friday, June 12, a week earlier than originally planned.

The new weekly show on ARN’s GOLD Network will unpack the stories shaping the week across news, sport and entertainment – alongside a line-up of big-name guests.

ARN journalist, TV presenter and podcaster Georgia Love (pictured above) joins the show as newsreader.

Award-winning producer Sacha French has been appointed Executive Producer.

As previously announced, longtime GOLD Network announcer Toni Tenaglia (pictured above) will anchor the new show.

Eddie McGuire said “We couldn’t wait to get started. Karl and I have been talking about this for years, and once everything came together, it just felt right to bring it forward. We’re ready to go and we’re going to have a lot of fun with it.”

Chemist Warehouse has signed on as launch partner for The Long Weekend, supporting the new format across ARN’s audio, streaming, social and video platforms.

The Long Weekend will launch at midday on Friday, June 12 and will broadcast live on the GOLD Network, stream live and on demand on iHeart, extend across social platforms, and be available on 9Now and Stan, alongside global distribution via the iHeart network.
