Aker sets the SAS record straight on Hughesy, Ed & Erin

This morning on 2DAY FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin Breakfast show, former AFL star Jason Akermanis decided to set the record straight on his exit from SAS Australia.

Aker departed in the first episode, amid claims of a faked injury.

While he doesn’t regret going on the show, Aker claims not everything his as it seems!

“They’re putting mayonnaise on everything,” he says.

The former Brownlow Medallist also revealed:

• He expected the experience to be tough, but he didn’t expect to be called ‘soft’
• The scariest thing was small spaces.
• He is grateful for his outside life and he ‘wanted to go home to his 26-bedroom house’
