AFLW star Erin Phillips makes Adelaide radio comeback

Reporter

After scaling things back to focus on footy, Erin Phillips is returning to radio.

The Advertiser (subscription required) reports the AFLW superstar has left Mix 102.3 and is joining rival station SAFM.

Phillips began her radio career at Mix, co-hosting Breakfast with Mark Soderstrom.

In mid 2022 – after Soderstrom’s departure from Mix – Phillips cut back her involvement in what had become The Ali Clarke Breakfast Show to focus on her football career.

She retired from professional footy at the end of the 2023 season.

Phillips is reportedly joining two of Mix’s rivals – SAFM and its sister station Triple M from March.

She’ll be reconnecting with Soderstrom as a guest contributor on SAFM’s Bec & Soda Brekky show and will also make weekly appearances Triple M’s Drive program The Rush Hour with Bernie, Blewey and Jars.
