92.7 MIX FM’s Todd & Sami raise $18,900 for SunnyKids

They’ve half-walked, half-crawled back into the studio … exhausted but victorious.

After twelve extraordinary days spent scaling five of the most iconic peaks on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, 92.7 MIX FM’s Todd & Sami have successfully completed their annual Sunrise to Sunset for SunnyKids mountain challenge.

It began with the steep 446m climb up Mount Cooroora, known for its demanding concrete, rock-chiselled and metal stairways.

Next, they tackled the ‘pleasant’ 155m walk up Mount Ninderry, followed by the steep 181m ascent of Mount Coolum.

The day continued with the 200m graded but challenging track up Mount Ngungun, before they finished with the paved yet steep 215m climb of Mount Beerburrum.

With support from sponsors including IFYS, Secure Access, IT, Gold Buyers National, TOWN, and Refined Plumbing, Todd & Sami raised $18,900 for SunnyKids, a local charity which provides vulnerable children and families access to life-changing help and services.

Thanks to the generosity of the Sunshine Coast community, this contribution will support children of families affected by domestic violence for a full 12 months, providing essentials like school uniforms, medical care and access to educational and psychological services.
