2DayFM trio surprise brides-to-be all over Sydney with inaugural Hen-Tathlon

On Saturday, 2DayFM’s The Jimmy & Nath Show with Emma took over Sydney with their inaugural Hen-Tathlon – crashing multiple hens parties across the city over the course of one day.

In partnership with My Ultimate Hens, the trio surprised brides-to-be and their squads with a string of activities including bottomless brunches, tarot readings, pole dancing, karaoke, nude drawing sessions and a whole lot of chaos.

The Hen-Tathlon was born after the show was inundated with entries online, on social media and on-air, with brides-to-be telling the show why they deserved a re-do or a little extra magic for their big send-off.

Stories included hens parties being cancelled during Covid, hens who were pregnant and never got the full experience and groups who just couldn’t face the stress of planning.

The Hen-Tathlon kicked off at 10:30am on Saturday 20th September and ran back-to-back throughout the day.

Jimmy, Nath & Emma said “We recently read a story about how so many people can no longer afford to attend/have hens parties before they are married and we simply couldn’t stand by and let that happen. As such an important part of the marriage journey, we made it our mission to ‘Save the Aussie Hens’ and hit (and shout) as many hen’s dos as we can on the busiest weekend of the hens party year.”
