Rory Hession heads to Hit Perth Workdays

Hit92.9 Perth’s lineup shakeup continues, with Rory Hession announced as the new Workdays announcer.

Rory heads to Perth from Nova 106.9 in Brisbane, and has also worked at Power100 Townsville and NewFM in Newscastle.

“I’d been looking for someone to ‘break the workday format’ that little bit, and Rory’s short sharp creative is what just put him over the top in a really solid field of applicants,” said Hit92.9 content director Tim Arnold.

His appointment follows news this week that Juelz Jarry will fill-in for Heidi on Breakfast for the remainder of 2019.

Ryan Jon departed the Breakfast team last month, moving to Victoria to be closer to family.

Rory starts his new gig on September 4.
