Juelz Jarry joins Hit92.9 as Heidi takes maternity leave

As Hit92.9 Breakfast prepares to farewell Heidi who is taking maternity leave, the Perth station has announced that Juelz Jarry will fill-in for the back-end of 2019.

Juelz heads to Perth from Hit Southwest where she hosts the Jesse & Juelz Brekky show.

She got her start as a receptionist and cleaner at SCA Dubbo before getting her break in Bunbury.

“Heidi loves her, Xavier & Pete love her, and I love her. It’s especially exciting to be able to whittle down a very long list of candidates to end up rewarding someone who has slogged for years chasing their radio dream,” said Hit92.9 content director Tim Arnold.

Juelz joins the show from Monday, August 19. Heidi will return in 2020.

It’s the second shakeup to the Hit92.9 lineup in recent weeks, after Ryan Jon announced he was quitting the show to be closer to family.
