Congratulations ARN. You guys are so far ahead of the pack for both networks.
On a national level you are making Nova and smooth look pretty average and poorly positioned.
2Day still going nowhere
Agreed. One of our clients has started calling Nova No-More because of the terrible daytime music.
They used to have it playing in the office and started getting too many complaints about the music and number of ads.
Interestingly 2DayFM is playing some slapping tunes, once the BF presenters hang up their headphones
Nova is #1 in Perth not Mix
Oops, our mistake. Fixed now, thanks for pointing it out Hkn.
I’m just here writing down notes from the experts in the comments.
Bring on….. the wisdom!
Go.
Can we take a moment to appreciate RNB Fridays Radio, and Mike E & Emma’s ratings. Solid effort!!
No 1 AM Brisbane is 4KQ (10.7) ABC Brisbane sits at (8.5)
Observant indeed! Thanks, fixed.
@bring on the experts
You do know you’re reading trade press, quite literally targeted at the experts in radio right?
As someone who lives outside Brisbane, and after watching their animated ratings graphic, it blows my mind what is about to happen to 4KQ.
RNB Fridays Radio doing well, Triple J big drop , but doesn’t see any audience building at CADA…
I don’t think SCA can be happy with this survey…. 2DayFm just a small gain…same number for Triple M 5.3% …
Mix and Triple M in Perth not doing well as well…
Finally some light in the tunnel for Triple M Melbourne morning Marty Sheargold crew…
Has anyone replaced Fitzy and Gemma at SCA yet?
Changed roles, so no direct replacements. See

@Hkn – what are you talking about? Mix Perth is doing very well. They increased their share and are number 2 overall, and in breakfast. Triple M, on the other hand, could use some work.
@Hkn
Mix and Triple M in Perth have actually improved, not sure how you can say they are not doing well… 96FM now third behind Mix by quite a lot. Triple M beating 6PR, close to overtaking JJJ.
Woo hoo! #1 baby!
Wooooooooooooo
I’m sorry, but if you think anyone dropping harsh and bitter comments in this section is an ‘expert’ currently working in any type of actual leadership role within radio…… mmmmm. Think you might be off the mark.
But good one, keep on keeping on.
Are you new here?
@Jenny
@Dan
#2 for Mix Perth is not very satisfying, swapping places with Nova, 96fm in every survey.
Triple M nowhere close to 96fm.
Sooo before they joined Triple M and Hit Network , SCA Perth stations were doing better….
@Hkn – Mix, Nova and 96FM have been neck and neck, and back and forth, swapping positions, for a long time. It’s nothing to do with Mix/Triple M joining the Hit or Triple M networks. Whilst Nova are normally 1st or 2nd, I find it interesting that your comment is only directed at SCA, and not ARN.
@Dan
ARN managed to fix 96fm after mistakes they made after 2015.
2017,2018, …years were Mix, Nova were swapping places, 92.9. Hit and triple j just behind them. As I remember that times the battle was between 2 SCA stations and Nova….now just Mix, Nova, 96fm… triple M behind…
Clearly you can see that 96fm took some listeners from Mix (after joining Hit Network ).
“Neck and neck” must be bitter sweet for station witch was winning with much more greater share…
Absolute travesty what is about to happen to 4KQ. Look at the ratings! What is ACMA doing? Has a station basically at the top of the ratings ever been blown up like this before to be replaced by a nil-rating format? What a complete and utter joke. So 10% of Brisbane listeners about to lose their station? I just shake my head at the regulation and the industry in general if this is allowed to happen.
@AJ
It will be interesting to see how much listeners will switch to 4BH. I don’t think it will rise to 10% straight away.
I’m predicting that SENQ can be the most popular of SEN stations. Somewhere above 2%.
