Very weak performance for 2GB on afternoons and drive

Why is it that Deb Knight and Jim Wilson are not able to hold onto that huge audience from breakfast and mornings because they have no such problem over at 3AW

When radiotoday reported Fran was being replaced by Patricia on RN breakfast I commented that ratings would fall. And they have, in every single market. She was the wrong choice.

I dont think 2Day Fm should be getting too excited about a rating of 4% at breakfast because the figures will likely drop back into the 3’s next survey

Melbourne results are showing above for Brisbane and vice-versa (as in the PDFs from GFK). 😉

Surely SCA won’t be paying an entire team on RNB Fridays DAB very long to entertain 24,000 people a week. I can’t see the board signing off on that cost too many more times.

How long has DAB+ been around? How long have people been listening to radio via any myriad of apps now? SURELY it’s beyond time to drop this bullshit AM/FM split in the results then. Not that #1 really means anything other than wanking rights anyway, but surely we can move on. Unless there’s an ulterior motive…

I think you might be under the misapprehension that the RnB Fridays DAB+ station is only broadcast into Sydney (thus your comment about 24,000 listeners a week). However, I’d suggest you familiarise yourself with the fact that the station’s actually also broadcast into other markets.

@miriam – I get that its broadcast nationally, i thought it was better to focus on Sydney as to having 100,000 NATIONALLY when a Kate, Tim and Joel have 1,493,000 nationally. Even 2day mornings which only goes to Sydney has 293,000. maybe familiarise yourself with decent numbers.

Just to give you some facts Patricia went up in the first ratings of 2022 so she isn’t that bad it’s only Survey 2 wait until survey 8 at the end of the year & we see how hey ratings will be across Australia & Melbourne Plus she has a hard-working team working behind it

B105s only decent offering is breakfast in Brisbane… will be interesting to see SCA and how far Abbie Chatfield can jackhammer the current survey for Pathetic nights. Sorry Hot nights. Nova has potential to get a lot of listeners over for their nights offering with Smallzy! Better then listening to her relationship.
