Leroy Brown to leave KRock
After five years with Geelong’s KRock B-Team, Leroy Brown is pulling the pin. In his video he said:
“The reason why I am leaving is to wake up with my wife everyday… that’ll be nice…. To take the kids to school, butter their toast – tick that off…. and in general I need a healthier lifestyle away from early starts… This job is a mentally taxing job…. After five years I am going to pull the pin.”
Leroy’s last breakfast show with KRock is Friday before he heads back to Melbourne Christian station 89.9 Light FM to do drive.
Content Director for LIght FM Clayton Bjelan told Radio Today: “We’re thrilled to welcome Leroy Brown back into the LightFM fold. Leroy will be bringing his extensive experience (Triple M, KRock) and also his heart and passion for positively impacting the community in the Drive slot starting in July.”
