Kyle & Jackie O feel the wrath of Hit Mid North Coast’s Bodge

Fresh off losing co-host Rach at the end of last week, Hit Mid North Coast‘s newly solo Breakfast host Jason ‘Bodge’ Bodger felt another kick in the guts this morning when KIIS 106.5 stole his traffic reporter.

Alex Strachan filled in on Kyle and Jackie O today with their regular traffic guy Vic Laruso on holidays, but Bodge wasn’t having it and called into the show to complain.

After Kyle finally established that his name was Bodge, not ‘Dodge’, he got down to business.

“We’ve pulled his string here,” said Kyle. “You’re not happy for him to get the big call-up to come and play the A game?”

“Now Kyle, I’m happy for him. But friendship comes down to when someone needs you,” replied Bodge. “I’ve got abandonment issues mate.”

They then got Alex on the buzzer as well, who added “Bodge doesn’t pay the bills. This is typical of Bodge, he throws his toys out of the cot.”

Bodge has since told Radio Today that an agreement has been struck whereby Alex will do the traffic for both shows for the rest of the week.
