Hot 91 pulls Taylor Swift from playlist in the name of netball

A Queensland radio station is making a bold move.

The Sunshine Coast Lightning will compete in Brisbane this coming weekend for their third consecutive Suncorp Super Netball premiership title, with the team’s official radio partner Hot 91 moving swiftly to show their support.

“The Lightning are competing against the NSW Swifts, and no Swift will get airplay on our station until our team comes home with the title,” Hot 91 CD Ronnie Stanton said.

“Effective immediately and until after the game on Sunday afternoon, we will be removing all Taylor Swift music from our station.”

Hot 91 is right behind our local Suncorp Super Netball League team and feel a Threepeat on Sunday 15th September is imminent.

“For the record, we don’t want any Bad Blood with NSW… or Taylor. And to the haters? You need to calm down!!”
